ROOT ;) |
Things you require to ROOT your Micromax A87 :-
- Android SDK - Download here . This is required to install the required files and drivers on your system so that the Rooting process may be continued.
NOTE:- Android SDK Requires Java Development Kit (jdk) for installation . To get JDK click HERE . Download the appropriate version according to your operating System.
- Unlock Root - download here A Software to break the Root access and Install Superuser on your Device .
- A adb_usb File - This you have to create manually to do so , follow these steps
- Open Notepad , and paste the following lines in it [Do not change anything]
# ANDROID 3RD PARTY USB VENDOR ID LIST -- DO NOT EDIT.
# USE 'android update adb' TO GENERATE.
# 1 USB VENDOR ID PER LINE.
0x1c9e
- Save the file With the name of 'adb_usb.ini' , without quotes and change the 'Save as type' to ALL FILES .
PROBLEM WHILE INSTALLING ANDROID SDK :-
Sometimes even after installing jdk , Android SDK says that it requires jdk , to solve that press back and next and see if it works if not then follow these steps :-
Go to Control panel of search in the start menu 'Edit environment Variables of your account ' click on NEW and Type the name as 'JAVA_HOME' and set the path , where java is installed in your computer . For example if it is installed in C: drive then its path would be like 'C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_07' that you have to find out , if you are having problem with this step then please comment below , by using Team Viewer i'll operate your system and set the path :) .
FURTHER STEPS :-
- After everything is installed successfully , open Android SDK manager , there it will show a list of items just select 'Android SDK platform tools' and 'Google usb driver ' , unselect all other items . and install those two packages . after they are successfully installed close the Manager .
- Enable USB Debugging Mode : Go to your phone's Settings>Application>development>Enable USB Debugging .
- Install Unlock ROOT :- After installing Unlock ROOT , connect your phone in USB debugging Mode and Click on ROOT .
Your Phone will be ROOTED and a SUPERUSER app will be visible in the APP DRAWER .
Though I tried my level best in Explaining , but still there are places where i must have not been up to the point , so please comment below to tell your problems , if you successfully rooted your device then too please comment .
