How to minimize Applications in Java devices ! Fast and easy tutorial

So in today's tutorial i will teach you how to minimize Apps in Nokia s40 v3 , v4 , v5 . After successfully completing the tutorial you will be able to:-

  • Hack into your phone's security system.
  • Minimize Applications .
  • Break app permissions .
The whole tutorial uses the J.A.F Software and some brain storming so here are the requires files :-
  • J.A.F - Download HERE [With Instructions] , JAF is usually designed to Flash Java devices Firmware i.e the operating system they use , In flashing the original File system is removed and it is replaced by the new one in case a device is bricked or not functioning properly , but today we will use it for minimizing applications .
Follow the steps below to tweak your Firmware -
  1. Connect your Nokia Java phone to your PC , via USB cable , in PC-Suite Mode .
  • Execute the JAF Software , there you will find many tabs go to the BB5 Tab .
  • After you click on BB5 tab there will be a list of few more options you have to tick the following one :-
  • Read PP.
  • Normal Mode .
  • CRT 308 (In many devices it is already ticked).
Then Click on the SERVICE TAB .
After you click that , you will get the 'PP' file , Save that .
After saving the file open it with wordpad or notepad etc.
  • Now you have to Do a some CODE tweaking .
  • In the pp file (after you open it in notepad etc) -
  • For s40 v3 Models change the 28th Line from '1' to '2' , i.e From 28 1 to 28 2 .
  • For s40 v5 and v 6 Models , you will have to change the 48th line from 1 to 2 , i.e from 48 1 to 48 2.
  • In some devices , you will find that there's no 28th or 48th line , in that case you have to follow these steps -
  • Just Below where it is written SET 1 Add the two lines i.e For s40 v3 add 28 2 , and for s40 v5 , v6 add 48 2 .
NOTE :- If your PP file shows only 3 fields , then just add 48 2 below set 1 and save your PP file .

  • Now after the above is done , lets move to the next section .
  • Go to JAF , again the BB5 Tab but this time click these options -
  • Upload pp
  • Normal mode CRT-308 .
  • Click on service .
  • Select the .pp file you just tweaked with .
  • Most probably it will show DONE ! .
  • Then from the Right Hand side 'Phone Mode' Drop down menu select 'Normal'.
  • Your Device will restart and show the popup 'Test in RNDIS USB mode?' Press 'NO'... or you will brick your device .
  • The phone will successfully reboot .
Now your phone's security is hacked . NOKIA SECURITY WALL>> GONE :D

Modding the apps to work on your new Firmware :-
  • Copy the requires Java app to your PC .
  • Open it using any compression tool such as winrar , 7-zip etc .
  • Search for Meta-Inf Folder , and open it .
  • Open the Manifest.MF file in the meta-inf folder using notepad or any other editor .
  • There you will find many codes , Just add the line below at the end of those codes :-
  • Nokia-MIDlet-no-exit: True
Save the NOTEPAD File .
After that you will be asked to UPDATE the File , click on YES .

  • Copy that .jar file to your Nokia and 'HAVE FUN'
To minimize the app , just click the RED 'Call end key' - it will not ask for any warnings but will minimize , to restore the app go to its original location and restore :)
