Hello there , Sorry For the Long Gap between the posts , i regret it . Actually there were many Factors - Exams, family Affairs etc etc . but now i'm back and will post regularly .
So , you are a Googler right ? or may be a binger , that doesn't matter , if you were searching for something - "how to turn off an device remotely" , you landed the right place !
It may sound a bit weird that why would you want to turn your device off remotely , but in many cases it becomes very handy . imagine going to a party , or probably your friend's house etc , or may be forgetting your device at you office desk , and you don't want people running after you to kill you , because you were not picking up the phone , or you want to save your battery etc etc . we have the solution - Turn your Android remotely .

About the App :-
The App is named - Remote Turn Off . and it is a very simple app that with the help of your Device's Root access , Shuts down the phone . By sending the Code 'power#off', as a text message from any other cell to your device .This app will not work as a simple Installed app , It would be either flashed using recovery, or have to be pushed to the system/app folder . And for Notice : this app will not work on non-rooted phones . Its a free App .And have features , which include to change the Code , So as to be prevented from your Prank Friends , you can'r download it from play store , as i earlier mentioned , its not a simple app . but a flashable ZIP .
How to use ?
- Place the Downloaded File in your SD card , Directly in it and not in any folder.
- Turn off your Phone in Recovery mode , Preferably Clockworkmod recovery (try googling for your device)
- Choose the install zip from SD card.
- Select the file.
- wait for the Process to complete , and then reboot your device .
- Then >
- You Just need to send the SMS with 'power#off' to the device you want to turn off , From any mobile number.
REQUIRES A ROOTED DEVICE !
IMPORTANT :-
- You can't change the Keyword .
- You won't Find any icon in the App-drawer , the App runs Completely in Background .
- You Should have File named 'Reboot' binary in the System/bin or system/xbin , for the app to run .
